Number 9 in list of Strange Incidents

[This is an item that my grandfather Jesse Hibbard wrote (and typed) in 1970. My (Al) role was to first transcribe it, next to add corrections or clarifications [within brackets], and then to add links to people connected to me (that gives more information), links to give more information about places, and for those mentioned but not connected, I sometimes added links to FamilySearch.org.]

Strange Incidents, and little tales - J.E.H

9. Once a friend of mine set a trap in an old badger hole and in the morning he found a rabbit in it. The rabbit was dead, having been bitten in the breast by some member of the weasel family, I suppose. He reset the trap, and in the morning the trap was turned bottom side up, probably by a mink. I was with him each time. The mink is a very cunning animal.
