About ten years ago, I started casually taking photographs of what I thought were "interesting" by some metric. Either there was something weird about the shot, or a natural question to ask, and so on. For the 2025 Christmas newsletter, I built a page consisting of 8 of these. I reproduced them below.

Can you explain how these three buckets were used?

What is causing the lighting effect here?

Ed is driving the tractor, and I am sitting on this contraption? What is the contraption and what are we doing?

What attracted me to take this picture in Park Rapids, MN?

What is ironic about this funeral home?

In this photo, I am looking due west. In what direction was the wind blowing today and how hard?

What was the temperature in the last 12 hours before this was taken?

I indicated these were photos. This is not a photo, but a screenshot. Additionally, I am not the source, but the intermediate source is David G., my son's father-in-law. I appreciate his finding and sharing his contributions on Facebook. Question: Why did I select this as interesting or humorous?
I hope you had fun with my warped sense of "interesting".
