Chains of Babies

My parents were both born in 1926, but let's look at their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and so on (going up the father's line each time) and classify the child as the youngest, middle, or oldest.

  2. my grandfather: George Jacob Smith (1897-1969) - oldest child
  3. my great-grandfather: Jacob George Smith (1866-1938) - oldest child
  4. my 2g-grandfather: Geert (George) J. Smidt (1839-1919) - oldest son (but had older sisters)
  5. my 3g-grandfather: Jacob Heijen Gerdes Smit (1792-1881) - oldest child
  6. my 4g-grandfather: Geerd Janssen Smit (1762-1795) - no information

Dad's side.

  1. my dad: Edmund Arthur Hibbard (1926-1985) - youngest child
  2. my grandfather: Jesse Edmund Hibbard (1893-1981) - youngest child
  3. my great-grandfather: Howard Horatio Hibbard (1854-1932) - youngest child
